Completely worth listening to this talk by Rob Bell on the Day of Atonement in the Jewish Festival calendar. Gave me fresh insight on what the actual concept of "atonement", a loaded word thrown around in Christianity, actually means and how it's applied.

I'm normally not a very big fan of Rob Bell, but I absolutely LOVE all the insight into Judaism that he brings. I think that it's so important for anyone who claims Christianity to understand Judaism as much as they can....it's the foundation of Christianity, and the framework that the Gospels (and much of the NT) were written in.
