da bears

Classic night in Edinburgh: Kate and I were really tired cause we didn't get much sleep the night before. She elected to stay home and hit the sack while I went to a bar to see the Bears game. I had been invited by one of my few american friends over here from University, but walking into the bar, you would have thought you were in some bar in Boston; it was jammed with Americans.
What a game, can't complain about the excitement. I yelled for the Bears in the first few minutes, and instantly had a large group of friend acting like we knew each other for years. By the end of the night, I knew half the bar....laughin, yellin at Grossman, talkin about studies, Europe, Edinburgh, where they were from....what a night.

It was a bizarre feeling to walk outside and realize you were in Edinburgh. I had just been with a crowd full of americans, eating pappa johns pizza, and watching american football, it was an exciting reality to "be" back in Edinburgh.

I suggested an Eikon Super Bowl Party, but I don't think anyone would show up.
