Edinburgh Capitals

We have been meeting the most interesting people around here:
We've been looking into different flats because our current flat is just too expensive with $500/month council tax (we're in the most expensive tax bracket because it's in the dead center of the city). We met a letting agent, Nicola, who happened to be very helpful. We saw a few places through her, and Kate began getting to know her a bit.
She's a professional balet dancer, and her boyfriend is a professional hockey player. He played in Sweden for a while, but is back in Edinburgh playing for the Capitals. She invited us to go to one of his games, so he got us into the game for free. I haven't been to a hockey game in ages, but it was a ton of fun.
Following the game, we went into the VIP bar where the players and close friends get together. We hung out with Steven (her boyfriend). His dad happens to be a professional golfer and plays in Germany, so Steven has also just started a golf clothing line. Another player on the team is from Canada who finished up at Yale recently in Economics! These hockey players were super cool.
They invited us to Steven's birthday party this monday with some of the guys from the team.
We are constantly reminded by the Lord that we are here for his purposes and is blessing our passion to meet people.

Wow! More connections. And I think I know Nicola, don't I?
How God orchestrates our lives. I just had a God orchestrated connection with someone that turned out to be another prayer link with Jon's job interview.
So happy for you guys. God has you there for such a time as this.
